Render Her Beautiful

Here is a little poem I wrote a couple years ago. It’s for my beautiful wife, Melissa.

by Kevin Main

Render her beautiful christen her chaste

Use vibrant colors for places she’s graced

Color her canvas with spirit and splendor

And Render her                                beautiful.

Render her beautiful bury her tears

Demonstrate confidence, quiet her fears

Hold her with arms that are solid, yet tender

And Render Her                                beautiful.

Render her beautiful hold her secure

Sacrifice all so her hope can endure

Live everyday as a shield and defender

To Render her                                  beautiful.

Render her beautiful share from the start

The once secret places, the depths of your heart

Flowers alone will do little to send her

Or Render, her                                 beautiful.

Render her beautiful carry her pain

When she is failing, help her sustain

Learn how to care for her, take time to mend her

To Render her                                  beautiful.

Render her beautiful stay by her side

Laugh with her, cry with her, share and confide

More than a lover, you’ve got to befriend her

To Render her                                  beautiful.
